As many of you recall, we made the decision towards the end of last season to hire a Park Manager to manage the day-to-day operations at Paradise Oaks RV Resort. We are excited to welcome Jeff Wheeler to Paradise Oaks as our 2017/18 Park Manager. We feel that Jeff will be a nice fit to our culture and community. We look forward to the support that Jeff will provide our guests and employees during our season together at Paradise. In addition to Jeff, his wife Debe Wheeler will be joining our front office staff. Many of you have had the chance to speak to her on the phone. She will be a nice addition to our office staff and we look forward to her support as well. Below is a summarization of Jeff and Debe’s past and experiences. We ask that you join us in welcoming Jeff and Debe in making them feel welcome in these new positions at Paradise Oaks!

Please give these individuals a warm welcome and thank you. They have been working very hard all summer to make this coming season extra special!Jeff and Deb Wheeler:
Both Jeff and Deb were born and raised in NH. In 1981 they packed up their two girls and moved to Yarmouth Maine because Jefff accepted an IT Management position in Freeport with L. L. Bean. Deb worked there too. After 20 years when the nest became empty they decided to try full-time Rving. Both of them have always enjoyed the outdoors, hiking, canoeing, kayaking, swimming, fishing, etc. In 2003 Jeff and Deb sold their Yarmouth home and moved back to NH to be close to Deb’s dad after losing her mom. They built their own little campground with 4 sites on a secluded piece of property next to Deb’s dad. It’s nestled in the woods along a river. They enjoy summers in NH with their daughters and their 6 grandchildren.
At the beginning of Jeff and Deb’s RVing life, their experiences meeting people and touring the country side was much more than they had expected. The words “Life is Good” was their motto. Jeff decided to go back to school in 2004 and become a certified RV technician. Jeff established a mobile RV service business and also worked for RV dealerships in NH and Florida for the past 9 years. When they first came to Florida Jeff and Deb took on workamper positions in RV resorts seasonally. In 2011 Jeff accepted an RV Service Technician position in Homosassa and Deb workamped in the office for an RV Resort in Brooksville. In 2015 Jeff and Deb decided to retire and experience the other side of Rving. They landed at Paradise Oaks for the 2016/2017 winter season but not without giving their resumes to Greg and Yvonne Mixon because they had heard so much about the wonderful owners of Paradise Oaks and they thought they would like working for them. But, all the positions were full for the season so they both took the winter off and relaxed, and relaxed. Jeff and Deb were pleasantly surprised when Greg and Yvonne approached them with work opportunities. After a few meetings, Jeff and Deb knew they wanted to be part of the Paradise Oaks team.
