This community is always quick to show up and support one another, but this event truly took that spirit to another level. When we first planned it, we hoped to pack 10,000 meals across two one-hour shifts with 96 volunteers. Instead, more than 120 people signed up in less than a week—so many that we had to turn volunteers away!
Today, we shortened each session to under 45 minutes and still packed nearly 13,000 meals. That means thousands of families will receive a nutritious meal—what an impact.
